“NFL Playoffs 2010″ currently #10 in sports!
The first thing I have to say is thank you! A couple days ago I released an NFL Playoffs App that features live scoring and schedules. I figured it was a pretty good idea considering the playoffs are going on right now, but since I’ve only been an iPhone Developer for a few weeks I didn’t think it would really get much attention. I was browsing around the app store yesterday for some inspiration on a new app and happened to spot my own at the #54 spot in top paid sports apps. I though it was absolutely insane and couldn’t believe I had actually charted in the app store. I went back to work on my new app and just for fun, an hour later, I checked the top sports apps again. My app had climbed to the #34 spot. Since then my app has continued to climb and at the time of writing this it is the #10 top paid sports app. I’m still bewildered by it, and all I can say is thank you. I started doing this 3 weeks ago without any knowledge of programming and I still am definitely a beginner, but this has driven me to work at it even harder and hopefully you’ll be seeing more of me on the app store charts.

iPhone Development
A couple of weeks ago I joined the iPhone Developer Program and have been playing around with it ever since. I pretty much have zero programming experience so I’ve just been doing some simple stuff while I try to teach myself how to do this. The reason I bring it up now is because my first app was released in the app store today (here). It’s a simple guitar tuner that I made mostly as a test app. I would greatly appreciate it if you check it out and let me know what you think. I plan on writing more about my iPhone Development progress and experiences so check back soon. Thanks
Welcome
My name is Michael Dearworth. I’m a Web Developer, Graphic Designer, and iPhone Developer. I hope to update this as frequently as I can, although I’m still not sure which direction I’m going to go with it. Check out my tech-blog website, www.CtrlMod.com, which I plan to update in the near future. I know I don’t have much information yet, but I’m still settling in. Thanks for listening…stay tuned…
